Mary Rose and Michael Del Pietro Sr. opened the doors to Del Pietro's on September 13, 1976. Their history in the restaurant business made opening their own place the natural next step. With only eight tables and seating for thirty-four people, they were on their way to a long tradition of family owned restaurants. More than thirty years and three expansions later, the restaurant now holds two hundred people, and is still family owned and operated. Mary Rose has continued her passion for great food in a comfortable atmosphere, "walking into the restaurant is like walking into my home." With all of her four children following in her footsteps, Mary Rose has a sense of accomplishment that goes with the love of her family and her restaurant.
